We took our first trip to Supercross in our hometown of Salt Lake City, and honestly, it went exactly how a Numbskull trip should go.
First off, we were completely lost on which lot we needed to get to. Naturally, instead of leaving the first one we pulled into, we decided to set up a makeshift booth anyway. And not gonna lie… it actually looked pretty sick. We rolled up in Miss Catalina ~our old RV battle wagon~ cruising through SLC streets like she owned the place. Then we accidentally ended up on the highway. That’s when Catalina started absolutely SMOKINNN out the vents.Total carnage. Instant conversation starter.
…but somehow Catalina became the main attraction.
And honestly? We wouldn’t have had it any other way.
A bunch of awesome people stopped by to make sure we knew the RV was trying to die in real time, but the best part of the whole situation was meeting some locals who came over to help. It turned into a full family affair. The real heroes of the night were these two younger kids who straight up crawled under the engine and FIXED the damn thing. Absolute legends. Somehow they got Catalina back alive long enough for us to make it home safe.
So hopefully Miss Catalina survives long enough for another season, because we definitely wanna load up the team, the gear, the hot dogs, and hit more moto events.
Seriously… moto people are the absolute best.
And the event itself? Fucking LIT.The smell of race fuel might honestly be a new addiction. We’re considering bottling it into a cologne at this point.
The racing was chaos. The crowd was chaos. The stadium was chaos. Exactly how it should be.
The food lines inside were not a good chaos though, which made us even more stoked that we brought hot dogs n beer out to the tailgate lot. Safe to say free dogs, brews and stickers are officially becoming part of the traveling Numbskull gang.
We handed out merch, talked with a ton of people, showed off sneak peeks of upcoming gear, and got to hear everyone’s ideas, stories, and feedback. That was honestly one of the best parts of the whole night.
This was our first motocross event, but it definitely won’t be our last.
Who knows… maybe next year we figure out how to make it official.
We ended the night chattin' with the last of the lot lizards and watching the everything disappear into smoke while the homies threw down burnout after burnout. Pure hype. Even campus police seemed cool with it.
We’re beyond stoked to be chasing the moto world and building Numbskull alongside all of you.
Thanks to everybody who stopped by, talked with us, grabbed stickers, checked out the gear, and helped us brainstorm new ideas for the brand. Getting to connect with people who understand the lifestyle reminded us exactly why we’re doing this in the first place.
This is just the beginning.

Total carnage. Instant conversation starter.
